AlarmAware provides non-invasive, educational home fire safety reviews that help homeowners, seniors, and families identify common fire and safety risks before they become emergencies.

AlarmAware is not an inspection, code enforcement, or repair service. We simply help people understand the condition of the safety equipment already in their home and, where appropriate, provide convenient access to recommended replacement products.

Why AlarmAware

Most people assume their home safety equipment is fine.

But many smoke alarms expire after 10 years. Fire extinguishers may be missing, expired, or stored where they cannot be reached. Carbon monoxide alarms are often outdated or not installed where they are needed most.

The trouble is, many families do not realize there is a problem until there is an emergency. AlarmAware was created to bridge the gap between emergency response and prevention.

Every review is tailored to your specific home layout and family needs.

Smoke Alarms

Includes testing, battery replacement if needed, manufacture date verification, placement review, condition assessment, and recommendations for cleaning or replacement of expired alarms.

Carbon Monoxide Alarms

Testing of each carbon monoxide alarm, verification of manufacture date and expiration, battery replacement if required, review of proper placement near sleeping areas and fuel-burning appliances, and recommendations for cleaning or replacement.

Fire Extinguisher

Verification of pressure gauge, hose and pin condition, visible damage or corrosion, accessibility and mounting location, manufacture or service date, and general suitability for the area being protected.

Emergency Planning

Developing clear escape routes, bedroom exit plans, and family meeting points to help everyone respond quickly and safely in the event of a fire or other emergency.
